Japanese Youth Commits Suicide on the Internet
Japanese news this week has been awash with reports of an internet suicide, as a young man was found dead in his apartment in the Northern Japanese city of Sendai, part of the Miyagi prefecture. Police were alerted to the suicide by users of a video streaming site, Ustream, on which the man announced his attention to kill himself and then followed through with the act several days later to the alternate horror and delight of site users.

The corporation, Logo.com, LLC has announced the purchase of the domain name Logo.com from Sedo, a domain marketing firm. UK Internet Worth €150 Million Yearly
A recent study by the Boston Consulting Group found that economic activity in the UK centered around the internet reached more than €150 billion during the 2009 calendar year. This amounts to more than seven percent of the nation’s gross domestic product.
