Football Team Fumbles Website Registration

The last few days have been a little rough on the Dallas Cowboys football franchise. First, this past Sunday, the troubled team was trounced by the Green Bay Packers in an embarrassing 45 - 7 blowout.
Then, rumors began spreading that head coach Wade Phillips was to be fired after leading the team to only one victory out of 8 games this season, only one week after owner Jerry Jone’s announcement that there would likely be no coaching changes in the mid-season.

Adding insult to injury, fans seeking news of Phillip’s fate on Monday were greeted by a message instead of the official Dallas Cowboys’ website that said the domain name was available for purchase. Apparently, someone forgot to renew the domain name registration but it is unlikely that Wade Phillips can be blamed for this latest snafu. The website is back up now, and the Cowboys have added a domain name auto-renewal feature to their webhosting contract.
